Adult Psychotherapy

I recognize that each client's life story and healing journey is unique. My approach is integrative, by combining various therapeutic methods to deliver a tailored intervention for each client's unique concerns, whether short-term or long-term. At the heart of my practice is a commitment to exploring with curiosity, learning with compassion, and inspiring confidence and growth.

I utilize several evidence-based models, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioural (CBT, DBT), emotion-focused, psychodynamic, somatic, and mindfulness-based therapy. I work from a client-focused, trauma-informed, and culturally-sensitive framework. As an experiential therapist, our work together will not only incorporate intellectual insight, but also emotional and somatic experiencing, which is important for long-term personal growth and healing.

I provide a warm and calming atmosphere and work collaboratively with my client to proactively guide their progress. As someone who is described as a "good listener", I carefully attune to my clients and provide them with a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space to discuss issues at their own pace. My clients will also acquire personalized coping tools that can be practiced and applied both in and outside of sessions.
