Where did the name come from?
Mindful Map Counselling is a name that reflects both my personal journey and my approach to therapy.
The name came to me while I was travelling in Spain—a place that invited me to slow down, notice more deeply, and reconnect with what matters. Travel has always been an important part of my life. I enjoy exploring new places, and I hope to continue travelling more in the future. I’ve been fortunate to experience many countries, and these experiences have shaped how I see the world. They’ve deepened my sense of connection to humanity and strengthened my appreciation for different cultures, perspectives, and ways of being.
This global lens is something I carry into my work with clients.
The Meaning Behind “Mindful Map”
The idea of a “mindful map” reflects the process of therapy. Life often feels like a journey without a clear guide, and at times we can feel lost, stuck, or unsure of our direction. In our work together, I aim to support you in gently mapping your inner world—helping you explore your thoughts, emotions, patterns, and experiences with curiosity rather than judgment.
Rather than rushing toward solutions, I believe in slowing down enough to truly understand what is happening within. From that place of awareness, meaningful change becomes possible.
At the heart of my work is mindfulness and presence, by exploring, learning, and inspiring. I value creating a grounded, compassionate space where clients can feel safe to slow down and connect with themselves. Mindfulness is not about clearing the mind or achieving perfection—it is about noticing what is present with openness and kindness.
